국문 초록

본본 연구의 목적은 북한이탈주민들의 삶과 딜레마를 심층적으로 분석하여 북한이탈주민들을 향한 구체적이고 실제적인 정책과 제도 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 그 목적을 둔다. ‘원자료의 전사’ → ‘코딩 및 분석’ → ‘주제의 발견’의 질적 연구 분석 단계와 질적 자료 분석 프로그램인 NVivo를 적용한 결과 북한이탈주민들의 삶과 딜레마의 경우, ① 사회적 차별과 편견, ② 언어적 문제, ③ 경제생활, ④ 국가 제도 및 정책, ⑤ 자녀 양육 및 교육문제, ⑥ 사회·문화 차이, ⑦ 북한이탈주민 특성 등의 요인들로 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study examines the North Korean refugees’ life and dilemma in South Korea. To reveal their situation, this research uses the qualitative research methods: depth interview with participants (5 North Korean refugees) and CAQDAS(Nvivo). The findings of this research are as follows: First of all, North Korean refugees’ life is consisted of several factors such as social discrimination/prejudice, language problems, economic status, children rearing/education and cultural differences. Second, these factors suggest that Christian education in Korea have some significant tasks for the North Korean refugees: some educational strategies for understanding their culture and situation, training courses for the professional teacher for the refugees, development of the curriculum for the refugees, and cooperative programs for helping them in various areas.
