국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 신입생을 대상으로 하는 비판적 읽기의 교육 방안을 비판적 담화분석(CriticalDiscourseAnalysis)을 바탕으로 고안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 근래에 기능적 읽기를 넘어 비판적 읽기로의 전환이 요구되고 있다.이는 텍스트해석에 사회·문화적 맥락이 필요함에도 불구하고 필자의 관점 파악하기에만 그치는중등국어교육과정과 언어로 실천되는 힘(권력),이데올로기를 애써 외면하고 기계적인 중립을 지키고자 하는 교육 현실에 대한 반성에서 출발한다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 제안되었던 비판적 읽기 교육 방안들을 개선,단순화해서 실제성을 확보하고자 했다.본 연구에서는 하나의 도표로 된 비판적 읽기를 위한 텍스트 분석 틀을 제안한다.이 분석 틀은 사회·문화적 맥락을 기반으로 사실적 이해와 추론적 이해를 하고,이 텍스트를 받아들일 것인지 그러지 않을 것인지 판단(비판적 이해)할 수 있도록 설계되었다.그리고 본 연구에서는 이 텍스트 분석 틀로 텍스트를 실제로 분석해 보임으로써 그 유용성을 어느 정도 입증하고 있다.

영문 초록

he purpose of this study is to devise critical reading education plans for university freshmen, based on Critical Discourse Analysis. Recently, a switch from functional reading to critical reading is being required. This starts from a reflection on the secondary curriculum that is only interested in understanding perspectives of writers in spite of the need for a social and cultural context in interpreting a text, and from a reflection on mechanical neutrality-oriented educational reality which is intentionally tries to turn away in spite of power and ideology practiced with language. In order to make practicality secure, this study is focused on improving and simplifying the existing critical reading education plans. As part of this work, this study suggests a diagram of text analytical framework for critical reading. This analytical framework is designed to help students have literal and inferential comprehension, based on a social and cultural context and judge(critical comprehension) whether or not they will accept this text. Moreover, this study proves the usefulness by analyzing a text with this analytical framework, in practice.
