여대생의 데이트폭력 용서, 자아존중감이 데이트폭력 허용도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 데이트폭력 허용도, 용서, 자아존중감을 파악하고, 데이트폭력 허용도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 방법 연구대상자는 경기도에 소재한 일 대학에 재학 중인 여대생 207명이었다. 자료 분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0 Program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과, 데이트폭력 허용도는 이성교제경험, 데이트폭력 피해경험, 데이트폭력 가해경험에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 데이트폭력 허용도는 용서와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였고, 자아존중감과 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 회귀분석 결과, 최종적으로 데이트폭력 허용도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 용서(β= .23, p=.001), 자아존중감(β= -.18, p=.007), 데이트폭력 가해 경험(β= .18, p=.007)으로 나타났다. 회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=10.67, p<.001), 전체 모형의 설명력은 12.3%이었다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 여대생의 데이트폭력 예방을 위한 교육 프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 향후 관련 연구의 토대가 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to investigate the factors that affect acceptability of dating violence in college women. Methods A total of 207 students participated in the study. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results There were positive correlations between acceptability of dating violence and forgiveness. Acceptability of dating violence negatively correlated with self-esteem. Significant predictors of acceptability of dating violence included forgiveness (β= .23, p=.001), self-esteem (β= -.18, p=.007), and offense experience of dating violence (β= .18, p=.007). The regression model explained 12.3% of acceptability of dating violence (F=10.67, p<.001). Conclusions To reduce acceptability of dating violence among female college students, educators should develop intervention programs to promote related factors.
