비교과 교육과정 질 관리를 위한 인증제 고찰

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 비교과 교육과정의 질 관리를 위한 제도로써 인증제를 시행하고 있는 대학의 사례를 비교 분석하고 이를 토대로 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 연구대상은 자체 비교과 인증제를 운영하는 대학 중 특색있는 4개 대학이다. 사례 대학별로 비교과 인증제 전담부서, 인증위원회 구성, 인증절차, 인증기간, 인증부서 지원방안 및 사후관리, 운영방식과 인증 평가기준에 대해 비교 분석하였다. 결과 비교 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 비교과 인증제 도입의 시사점을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비교과 인증제는 비교과 프로그램의 계획, 운영, 성과관리, 평가, 개선 및 환류에 대한 전반적인 평가가 이뤄져야 한다. 둘째, 비교과 인증제의 신뢰성 확보를 위해 전문가의 검토를 통한 인증지표 개발과 인증심사 위원회의 구성이 전제되어야 한다. 셋째, 비교과 인증제의 실효성을 위해 비교과 프로그램이 비교과 교육과정으로 자리매김하여 운영될 수 있도록 전담인력과 예산이 확보되어야 한다. 결론 본 연구는 비교과 교육과정의 질 관리를 위한 제도로써 인증제 도입의 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이며, 대학 교육에서 비교과 인증제가 정착되기 위해 인증제 운영상의 개선방안 탐색이나 보완에 관한 후속연구를 수행되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the cases of universities implementing accertification system as a system for quality management of extracurricular curriculum and draw implications based on them. Methods The research subjects are four distinctive universities among universities operating their own extracurricular accertification system. A comparative analysis was conducted on the composition of the accertification committee, accertification process, accertification period, support plan and follow-up management of the accertification department, operation method and accertification evalution index for each university. Results Based on the comparative analysis, the implications of the comparison and introduction of the extracurricular accertification system are as follows. First, the extracurricular accertification system is the overall evalution of planning, operation, performance management, evalution, improvement, and feedback of comparison and program should be carried out. Second, in order to secure the reliability of the extracurricular accertification system, the development of accertification index through expert review and the formation of a accertification review committee should be premised. Third, in order to increase the effectiveness of the extracurricular accertification system, a dedicated manpower and budget should be secured so that the comparison program can be operated as a comparative education curriculum. Conclusions This study will provide basic data for the introduction of a accertification system as a system for the quality management of the extracurricular curriculum, and it is expected that follow-up studies will be conducted on the exploration or supplementation of improvements in the operation of the accertification system.
