부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제와 진로성숙도의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 방법 “2020 한국 미래세대 꿈 실태 조사” 자료 중 부모상실감을 경험한 중⋅고등학생 258명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 다중회귀분석과 Baron & Kenny(1986)가 제시한 매개효과분석방법을 사용하였다. 그리고 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 Bootstrapping을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제 평균은 1.47점, 진로성숙도 평균은 3.63점 그리고 회복탄력성 평균은 3.15점으로 나타났다. 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제가 높을수록 회복탄력성과 진로성숙도가 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 연구문제에 대한 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제는 진로성숙도에 유의한 부(-)적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제는 회복탄력성에 유의한 부(-)적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제와 진로성숙도의 관계에서 회복탄력성은 완전매개효과로 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 회복탄력성은 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 내재화 문제가 진로성숙도에 미치는 부적인 영향을 억제할 수 있음을 알게 하였다. 결론 본 연구결과를 토대로 부모상실감을 경험한 청소년의 진로성숙도 증진을 위해서 회복탄력성을 향상시킬 수 있는 제도적, 실천적 지원방안이 마련되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study investigates the effects of internalizing problematic behavior on the career maturity of adolescents with parental loss experiences and test the mediating effects of resilience between them. Methods The subjects included 258 middle and high school students that experienced a parental loss in the “2020 Survey on the Dreams of Future Generations in South Korea.” The SPSS 26.0 program was used for multiple regression analysis along with the analysis method of mediating effects proposed by Baron & Kenny (1986). And the statistical significance of the mediating effect was analyzed using Bootstrapping. Results The average of internalizing problematic behavior of adolescents who experienced parental loss was 1.47, the average of career maturity was 3.63, and the average of resilience was 3.15. It was found that the higher the internalizing problematic behavior of adolescents who experienced parental loss, the lower their resilience and career maturity. The main analysis results for the research question are as follows. First, the internalizing problematic behavior of adolescents with the experiences of parental loss had significant negative (-) effects on their resilience; secondly, the internalizing problematic behavior of adolescents with the experiences of parental loss also had significant negative (-) effects on their career maturity; finally, resilience was confirmed as a fully mediated effect in the relationship between the internalizing problematic behavior and career maturity of adolescents who experienced parental loss. These results suggest that resilience can suppress the negative effects of internalizing problematic behavior on career maturity of adolescents who have experienced parental loss. Conclusions Based on these findings, the study raises a need for institutional and practical support measures to increase the resilience of adolescents that experienced parental loss so that they can promote their career maturity.
