국문 초록

슈타이너의 인지학과 그의 발도르프 교육은 개인의 지적 능력 보다는 개인의 신체와 심성, 그리고 영혼 교육에 대하여 깊은 관심을 가진다. 본 연구는 특수교육 사상과 방법론의 다양성이 요구되는 현시점에서 루돌프 슈타이너의 인지학 사상과 인지학적 특수교육의 특성, 문제점 등을 분석적으로 고찰함으로써 ‘또 다른’ 특수교육학의 방법론을 모색함과 아울러 국내 특수교육에 어떤 시사점을 줄 수 있는지 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 인지학적 인간발달이론, 장애 인식론, 인지학적 치유/특수교육의 원리, 이론의 현장 적용을 위한 해결과제 등을 연구문제로 살펴보았으며 이러한 내용의 고찰을 근거로 하여 국내 특수교육에 주는 시사점을 찾고자 하였다. 아울러 이 연구를 통하여 인지학적 특수교육이 학문적으로 논의되는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy lays the philosophical ground of Waldorf education. Different from today’s school education that is heavily dependent on individuals’ intellectual abilities, Steiner’s anthroposophy and his Waldorf education pay close attention to individual’s physical, mental and spiritual education. In the current situation demanding diversity in the thoughts and methods of special education, Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy shows us ‘another’ special education. In Steiner who understands education and human development as a creation process happening in eternal cycle, teaching is eternal and learning is also eternal. In addition, the link connecting the two is ‘relation.’ Education that makes the learners try rather than teaching them and education that raises individuals who associates with the world rather than competent individuals are the important methodology of special education hidden in Steiner’s thought that education.
