만성·희귀난치성질환 아동을 위한 문화예술교육의 효과

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 만성·희귀난치성질환 아동을 위한 문화예술교육의 효과를 검증하여 향후 이들에 대한 문화예술교육의 필요성을 확인하는 것이다. 연구방법: 문화예술교육에 참여한 환아 23명과 이들의 형제·자매로 구성된 비환아 9명을 프로그램 참여 전에 사전설문조사를, 프로그램이 종료된 후에 사후설문조사를 실시하여 교육의 효과를 검증하였다. 분석방법으로 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계, 대응표본 t검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 프로그램 이후 참여 아동의 자기개념이 긍정적으로 변화한 반면, 스트레스대처, 공격성, 우울과 같은 정서적 측면에서는 통계적으로 유의한 변화가 발견되지 않았다. 결론: 본 연구결과를 토대로 만성·희귀난치성질환 아동을 위한 문화예술교육이 일반 문화예술교육에 비해 고려해야 할 사항에 대해 첫째, 교육대상의 측면, 둘째, 교육기간의 측면에서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of arts and culture education for children with chronic rare and incurable diseases and to identify the necessity of arts and culture education for them in the future. Method: Survey was employed to collect the data of the 23 children suffering from biliary atresia and type 1 diabetes, and 9 siblings who were non-suffering children. Reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, and corresponding sample t tests were conducted as an data analysis methods. Results: Both the suffering and non-suffering groups reported more positive self-concept after participating the program. On the other hand, no statistically significant change was found in the emotional aspect. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, what should be considered about arts and culture education for children with chronic and rare incurable diseases compared to general arts and culture education was discussed in terms of education subjects and education period.
