지체장애 고등학생의 특수학교 미술수업참여 경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학교에 재학 중인 지체장애 고등학생과의 면담을 통하여 미술수업 참여를 통해 지체장애학생에게 미술수업 참여는 어떠한 의미가 있는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 특수학교에 재학 중인 4명의 지체장애 고등학생을 연구 참여자로 선정하였으며, 면담을 통한 자료 수집과 질적 분석방법을 통해 귀납적으로 범주화하는 과정을 거쳐 주제를 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 특수학교 지체장애 고등학생들에게 미술수업은 자율적이고 자기 주도적인 수업, 성장 발달을 촉진시키는 수업, 한계를 깨닫고 극복해 나가는 수업, 그리고 학생과 교사가 함께 만들어 나가는 수업으로서의 의미가 있었다. 이러한 결과에 토대하여, 앞으로 지체장애학생을 위한 미술수업은 지체장애학생의 선호와 욕구를 반영하여 다양한 미술수업 지도방안을 개발하고, 이를 학생들에게 적용함으로써 학생과 교사가 함께 만들어나가는 미술수업의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study illustrated the meaning of participating in art classes for students with physical disabilities through the interviews with high school students with physical disabilities. For this research, 4 high school students with physical disabilities in a special school were selected as participants. The subjects were derived from the process of interviewing them and categorizing data inductively by qualitative analysis. In the results, art classes were meaningful as the classes which were autonomous, self-directed, to encourage development, to realize the limits and overcome it, and to be made by both students and teachers. According to the results, it was suggested that the teaching strategies should be developed in various ways with reflecting the needs and interests of students with disabilities. And the necessities of art classes which are made by the students and teachers from applying referred teaching strategies to students were provided.
