국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 행복감과 자아개념이 교직에 대한 열정에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 G 광역시에 소재한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 198명을 연구대상으로 하여 설문을 진행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 결과 이를 위하여 첫째, 예비유아교사의 행복감과 교직에 대한 열정의 3개 하위요인은 조화로운 열정, 열정, 집착적인 열정 순으로 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났으며, 자아개념은 교직에 대한 열정의 조화로운 열정, 열정과 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직에 대한 열정 하위요인인 열정과 조화로운 열정에 학문자아개념과 외적행복 순으로 영향력을 미쳤고, 집착적인 열정에는 학문자아개념이 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이에 근거하여 예비유아교사의 교직에 대한 열정 함양을 위한 교육적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of happiness and self-concept of pre-service early childhood teachers on the passion for teaching. Methods To this end, surveys were conducted on 198 pre-service early childhood teachers from a four-year university in G city. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 Results The results of this study are as follows. First, pre-service early childhood teacher s happiness showed a significant static correlation with the three sub-categories of passion for teaching in the order of harmonious passion, passion, and obsessive passion. Self-concept was shown to have a static correlation with harmonious passion and passion from sub-categories of passion for teaching. Second, passion and harmonious passion, which are sub-categories of pre-service early childhood teacher s passion for teaching, were shown to be affected by academic self-concept and external happiness. Obsessive passion was influenced by academic self-concept. Conclusions Based on the results, we discussed educational implications for improving pre-service early childhood teachers passion for teaching.
