간호대학생의 치매에 대한 공감체험

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 치매에 대해 학습 경험이 있는 간호대학생을 대상으로 치매에 대한 사례중심의 공감 과정에 대한 체험을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 간호학과에 재학중인 4학년 학생 중 치매에 대한 학습과 사례연구를 수행 경험이 있는 학생을 대상으로 2019년 11월 1일부터 12월 12일까지 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 진술된 내용은 van Manen의 현상학적 연구방법을 통해 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과에서 괴리된 별개의 삶에 대한 서곡, 중심축이 꺽이는 충격, 가족의 안전망이 헐거워짐, 가장자리에서 버티기는 나를 지키기 위한 방패, 그럼에도 불구하고 탈출시도, 새로운 안전망 구축 다잡기 총 6개의 본질적 주제를 도출하였다. 결론 본 연구결과를 통해 본 연구자는 간호대학생의 치매에 대한 교육과정에 공감을 통한 치매진행 단계별 단계별 인지기능 및 정서기능에 맞춘 치료적 공감 간호중재에 대한 강화가 필요함을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to understand the sympathetic experiences of nursing students about dementia and to explore the nature of those experiences. Methods Interviews were conducted from November 1st to December 12th, 2019 to students with experience in learning about dementia and carrying out case studies among 4th grade students enrolled in the Department of Nursing. The stated content was analyzed through phenomenological research methods by van Manen(1990). Results The results of the study are ‘A prelude to a separate life’, ‘The impact that the central axis is bent’, ‘The family s safety net is loose’, ‘A shield to protect me from the edge’, ‘Nevertheless, even trying to escape’, ‘Building a new safety net’. A total of six essential themes were derived. Conclusions Through the results of this study, this researcher suggests that it is necessary to strengthen the therapeutic sympathetic nursing intervention tailored to the cognitive and emotional functions of each stage of dementia progression through sympathy with the curriculum for dementia in nursing college students.
