공공서비스동기에 미치는 영향요인

국문 초록

이 연구는 경찰공무원 및 신임경찰교육생을 대상으로 공공서비스동기에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 영향요인으로 선정한 측정변인은 보수, 후생복지와 같은 조직요인과 조직내 의사소통, 혁신문화와 같은 조직문화로 하였다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였고 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 경찰공무원의 경우 첫째, 외재적 요인(보수, 후생복지)에 대한 만족감이 높아질수록 공공정책에 대한 호감도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 조직문화(조직 내 의사소통, 혁신문화)에 대한 만족감이 높아질수록 공익에 대한 몰입도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 외재적 요인(보수, 후생복지)과 조직문화(조직 내 의사소통, 혁신문화)에 대한 만족감이 높아질수록 희생정신이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 신임 경찰교육생은 외재적 요인(보수, 후생복지)에 대한 만족감이 높아질수록 공공정책에 대한 호감도는 높이는 반면 공익몰입과 희생정신을 높이는 조직 요인은 발견되지 않았다. 분석결과를 토대로 공공서비스동기 관련 영향요인으로 대두되온 조직사회화와 일반사회화 요인에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The Propose of this study was to verify the factors that affecting the public service motivation for police officers and newly recruited police officers. Measuring variables which affecting factors were organizational factors(wage, welfare) and organizational cultures(communication in organization, innovation culture). Regression analysis was conducted and the analysis results are as follows: In the case of a police official; First, It was found that organizational factors increased attraction to public policy making. Second, It was found that organizational culture increased commitment to public interest. Third, It was found that organizational factors and organizational culture increased spirit of self-sacrifice. In the case of a police official; It was found that organizational factors increased attraction to public policy making. But No affecting factors have been shown on commitment to public interest and spirit of self-sacrifice. Based on the analysis results, It was found implications for orgatizationl and general socialization which affecting factors on public service motivation.
