LED손세정검사기를 활용한 손씻기 교육이 간호대학생의 건강신념, 내적 건강통제위 및 손씻기 수행에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 LED손세정검사기를 활용한 손씻기 교육이 간호대학생의 건강신념, 내적 건강통제위 및 손씻기 수행에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전후 설계에 의한 유사 실험 연구이다. 연구대상자는 일 대학 간호학과에서 2020년 2학기 기본간호학 교과목을 수강하는 1학년 학생으로 실험군 21명, 대조군 36명의 자료를 분석하였다. 손씻기 교육은 활력징후 측정의 사례 기반과 LED손세정검사기를 활용한 시각적 교육으로 제공되었으며 자료수집은 2020년 11월 1일부터 11월 27일까지 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, chi-test 또는 independent t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 LED손세정검사기를 활용한 손씻기 교육 후 실험군이 대조군보다 건강신념(t=2.581, p=.013)과 손씻기 수행(t=2.164, p=.035) 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 건강신념의 하위 요인으로는 지각된 유익성(t=2.207, p=.032), 지각된 장애성(t=2.863, p=.006), 수행동기(t=2.425, p=.019)에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서 적용된 사례 기반 실습과 LED손세정검사기를 활용한 손씻기 교육은 간호대학생의 손씻기 수행을 증진시키는데 효과적인 간호실습교육으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of handwashing education using LED Handwashing Inspector on health belief, internal health locus of control and handwashing performance in nursing students. The study design was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. A total of 57 1st students in a nursing school, who took fundamentals of nursing, participated in the study. Handwashing education program consisted of lecture, case-based practice and LED Handwashing Inspector for handwashing training. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test and independent t-test. The experimental group showed significant increase in health belief(t=2.581, p=.013) and handwashing performance(t=2.164, p=.035) compared to the control group. Among the subarea of health belief, there were significant differences in perceived benefit(t=2.207, p=.032), perceived disability(t=2.863, p=.006) and performance motivation(t=2.425, p=.019). This study indicate that handwashing education using LED Handwashing Inspector was effective in enhancing student’s handwashing performance. Therefore, the handwashing education using case-based practice and LED Handwashing Inspector for handwashing training can be utilized in nursing practice education.
