국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 지각하는 아버지의 양육행동과 다문화수용성, 공감능력의 관계를 분석하고, 아버지의 양육행동과 다문화수용성 관계에서 공감능력의 매개효과를 검증해 보고자 하는데 있다. 분석을 위한 조사는 대구와 경북지역에 거주하는 대학생을 대상으로 2018년 11월 2주간 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 400부를 최종자료로 활용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석과 신뢰도분석, 상관관계, 위계적 회귀분석, 매개분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대학생이 지각하는 아버지의 양육행동과 다문화수용성, 공감능력은 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생이 지각하는 아버지의 양육행동과 다문화수용성의 관계에서 공감능력은 부분매개 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 본격적인 다문화사회로의 변화에 있어서 대학생의 다문화수용성 증진을 위해 가정에서부터 다문화사회를 인지하고 이해하는 수용적 아버지의 양육행동이 필요하며 더불어 공감능력의 향상도 함께 고려하는 것이 앞으로 다문화사회를 살아가는 대학생들의 다문화수용성 증진에 효과가 있음을 밝힌데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between father s parenting behavior, multicultural acceptance, and empathy ability, and to verify the mediated effects of empathy in father s parenting behavior and multicultural acceptance relationship. The survey was conducted for two weeks in November 2018 on university students living in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, and a total of 400 copies were used as final data. Data analysis used frequency analysis, reliability analysis, T-test, correlation, hierarchical regression, and parameter analysis using SPSS program. The results are as follows. First, it was found that the father s parenting behavior, multicultural acceptance, and empathy ability recognized by university students have a statistically significant correlation. Second, There is a partial mediating effect of empathy ability in father s parenting behavior and multicultural acceptance relationship. It is meaningful to find that improving empathy is effective in promoting multiculturalism among university students.
