영문 초록

GIS(Geographic Information Systems) researches diversely exist, but have not conducted many for GIS effectiveness. In addition, researches have conducted relatively a little about GIS effectiveness itself and effective variables. The research, therefore, included and analyzed important independent and intermediate variables as well as GIS effectiveness itself. The survey objects were end-user public officials in the southeast region. The dependent variable was effectiveness degrees by GIS in the region. The independent variables were eight variables extracted from the organization theories of system-technology characteristics, organizational structures, social-technology designs, and organizational contexts. The intermediate variables were system quality and end-user s knowledge extracted from the organization theories. The research formed a hypothetic model and analyzed the results by considering causal orders among independent, intermediate, and dependent variables through a path analysis.
