국문 초록

이 연구는 학교 내의 전문적 학습공동체 활동을 통해 학교 교육과정 개발과정을 살펴보고 있다. 교육과정개발은 교사의 전문성 발현의 중요 기재이지만 개인 역량으로만 바라보던 전통적 인식의 변화가 필요함을 확인하고 협력적 전문성의 구축이 필요함을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 연구대상 학교를 선정하여 2020년 2월 25일 ~ 3월 20일까지 연구학교의 전문적 학습공동체 활동을 통해 인권 교육과정 개발양상을 살폈다. 연구학교의 전문적 학습공동체는 숙의 과정을 통해 인권 교육과정개발을 위한 실천 경험을 공유하면서 협력적 교육과정개발을 통해 교육과정 전문성의 신장과 협력적 전문성의 형성이 가능함을 확인하였다. 연구의 결론은 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 교사 전문성에 대한 인식을 협력적 전문성을 재개념화하고, 전문적 학습공동체의 필요성을 확인하였다. 둘째, 학교 내 전문적 학습공동체의 운영을 통한 교육과정개발 숙의 과정을 살펴보았다. 셋째, 연구학교에서 실천 가능한 인권 교육과정을 개발하고 점검하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines the development process of human rights education curriculum at schools through teacher learning community activities. The development of the curriculum is an important part of a manifestation of teachers’ professionalism, but they are faced with too many difficulties to treat such development as individuals’ capabilities. This study suggests that teachers expertise of preparing the curriculum that remains in the domain of individual capacities should be able to overcome the limitations through professional learning community activities among teachers. The study findings are summarized as follows. First, the study has confirmed a need to re-conceptualize the awareness of teacher expertise and collaborative professionalism and to build a professional learning community. Second, the study has examined the deliberation model of curriculum development through the operation of teacher learning community at schools. Third, the study has organized the process of preparing the human rights education curriculum at school and inspected the sequence of establishing the lesson plan.
