부모 참여적 놀이신념이 유아기 부모의 수학적 상호작용에 미치는 영향에 대한 가정환경의 질의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 부모의 수학적 상호작용, 부모 참여적 놀이신념, 가정환경의 질 간의 관계를 파악하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울과 경기에 위치한 어린이집에 만 3, 4, 5세 자녀가 재원 중인 부모 289명을 대상으로 질문지를 사용하여 2020년 7월 1일부터 8월 12일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 25프로그램을 활용하여 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, 신뢰도분석, 편상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 수학적 상호작용과 부모 참여적 놀이신념, 가정화경의 질은 유의한 상관이 있다. 둘째, 부모의 수학적 상호작용에 대해 부모 참여적 놀이신념, 가정환경의 질 순으로 영향력을 미친다. 셋째, 부모 참여적 놀이신념의 수학적 상호작용에 미치는 영향을 가정환경의 질이 부분매개한다. 이러한 접근은 유아의 가정에서의 일상 속에서 부모의 자연스러운 수학적 상호작용을 향상시키기 위해서는 부모가 유아의 놀이에 적극적으로 참여하는 것이 유아에게 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 신념을 가지고 유아의 수학적 발달에 기여하는 가정양육환경을 조성할 필요성을 제안하며, 유아의 수학적 발달을 지원하는 부모의 수학적 상호작용에 대한 부모교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

In this study, we selected two variables to be affecting the early childhood parents’ mathematical interaction: parent participatory play beliefs, quality of home environment. We randomly sampled 289 parents of 3, 4, 5 years-old children which attending childcare centers in Seoul and Kyunggi. And we used questionnaires to collect their responses. The data analysis was performed using the statistical program of IBM SPSS Statistics 25 to analyze frequency, percent, mean, standard deviation, reliability, partial correlation, and step-by-step multiple regression.The results of this study are as follows. First, the mathematical interaction of parents, the parent participatory playfulness, and the quality of the home environment have significant implications. Second, it influences parents mathematical interactions in order of parental participatory play spirit and quality of home environment. Third, the impact of parental participatory play beliefs on mathematical interactions is partially mediated by the quality of the home environment. This approach suggests the need to create a home-cultivating environment in which parents contribute to the development of a child s mathematical abilities with the belief that their true participation in the infant s play has a positive effect on the infant s natural mathematical interaction in the infant s daily life, and is meaningful in providing basic data on programs aimed at various parents to improve the infant mathematical abilities.
