영문 초록

The vocabulary of a language is a level that is exposed to changes in life more often than other language levels. This article explores the lexical and semantic changes in the Uzbek literary language of the period of independence. It describes the enrichment of the Uzbek literary language with external and internal resources and, in turn, the archaization of many words and phrases in the Uzbek language. The case of enrichment of the Uzbek literary language at the expense of external resources is analyzed in lexical-semantic groups in terms of borrowed words. The development of the Uzbek literary language at the expense of internal resources is illustrated by the example of forming new by means affixation, composition and tracing. In studies of these language changes in the vocabulary of the Uzbek literary language, we use methods, such as semantical comparison, lexicographic definition, and etymological analysis. The scientific novelty of the study is as follows: the article mainly deals with the words which entered the Uzbek literary language over the past ten years, for the first time we give lexicographic comments on newly formed words and expressions, we reveal socio-linguistic factors of actualization of obsolete words as well as a connection between lexical and semantic changes in Uzbek literary language and changes in the lifestyle of the Uzbek people. The use of reliable scientific resources to clarify the meaning of words and expressions contributes to the reliability of the scientific analyzes.
