진로프로그램의 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 메타분석을 사용하여 진로교육법 시행 이후 진행된 진로프로그램의 효과를 종합하고, 종속변인별, 조절변인별 효과를 분석하여 최적화된 진로프로그램을 고안하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 2016년부터 2019년까지 발표된 29개의 논문을 기준에 따라 선정하여 187개의 효과크기를 구하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 진로프로그램 전체 평균효과크기는 .905로 상당히 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 종속변인에 따른 효과크기 분석에서 진로태도성숙이 가장 효과크기가 컸다. 셋째, 전체 프로그램에 조절변인에 따른 효과크기 분석에서 전체 효과크기에 유의한 영향을 미치는 조절변인은 지역과 진행기간이었다. 학교급은 고등학생이, 지역은 서울 및 광역시 이외에서, 성별은 남녀 혼합과 여학생이, 적용 이론은 진로이론 혼합이, 진행기간은 4주 이내, 회기 수는 1~5회기, 회기 단위 시간은 61~120분, 프로그램 총 시간은 601~900분이, 수업 시간 외 운영이 더 큰 효과크기를 나타냈다. 운영자는 연구자와 혼합 모두 효과가 컸다. 이에 대한 교육적 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect size of the career program conducted for all schools after the enforcement of the Career Education Act, the effect size of each dependent variable, and the effect size of each moderating variable using meta-analysis in order to provide the basic data necessary to design an effective and optimized career program. For this analysis, 29 papers published in Korea from 2016 to 2019 were selected according to the criteria, and 187 effect sizes were obtained. The results are summarized as follows: first, overall effect size was .905, which was found to be quite large by Cohen(1988). Second, for dependent variables, career attitude maturity had the greatest effect size. Third, moderating variables that significantly affected the overall effect size were region and duration. High school students, outside of Seoul and metropolitan cities, gender mixed and female students, less than 4 weeks, 1-5 sessions, 61~120 minutes each session, 601~900 minutes for total program time, time outside of class showed a greater effect. The operator had a great effect on both the researcher and the mix. The educational implication was discussed.
