간호대학생의 시뮬레이션 교육에서의 투약오류와 복구 수준

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생에게 시뮬레이션 교육을 적용하고, 투약오류와 복구 수준을 분석하는 양적연구와 투약오류 경험을 탐구하는 질적연구를 혼합한 연구이다. 연구 대상자는 고충실도를 활용한 시뮬레이션 교육에 참여한 간호대학생 102명, 30개 조를 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2019년 9월부터 10월까지이었다. 분석 결과, 연구 결과, 30개 조 중 투약오류(실행요인, 의사소통요인) 없이 투약을 안전하게 수행한 조는 없었다. 또한, 투약의 기본원칙 중 용량, 투여경로에 대한 오류가 발생하여 대상자에게 투약이 정확하게 수행되지 않은 위해사건이 발생한 조는 11개 조(36.7%)이었다. 투약오류 경험은 ‘투약오류에 대한 자아성찰’, ‘의사소통과 협력의 부족’의 주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구결과는 간호대학생의 투약오류 감소와 환자안전 역량 향상을 위한 시뮬레이션 교육을 마련하는데 활용될 것이다.

영문 초록

This triangulation study was performed in order to investigate the medication error that occurred and were recovered in simulation education by nursing students. 30 teams of a total of 102 nursing students were educated in the nursing simulation using a high fidelity simulator. The data were collected from September 2019 to October. All groups committed the medication errors in the simulation education. In 11 groups (36.7%), a adverse events occurred due to errors in the dosage and route of administration. Medication error experiences of nursing students are appeared as 2 categories and each categories were ‘self-reflection on medication errors and ’lack of communication and cooperation . The results of this study can be used in simulation education designed to decrease medication and improve patient safety competence for nursing students.
