국문 초록

본 연구는 넬 나딩스의 행복교육론을 통해 한국 교육 사회의 변화에 도움이 될 수있는 시사점을 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 먼저 넬 나딩스가 주장하는 행복교육론의 여러 담론들을 고찰하고, 행복교육 측면에서의 한국 교육 사회에 대한 구체적인 시사점을 탐색하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 교육적 시사점은 크게 교육의 본질적 목적에 대한 고찰, 새로운 시대적 패러다임에 맞는 학교의 변화, 행복에 기반을 둔 즐거운 학교로서의 효용성, 학생들의 삶과 연결된 교육내용의 필요성을 들 수 있다. 넬나딩스의 행복교육론은 여러 문제들로 어려움을 겪고 있는 한국 교육 사회에 큰 시사점을 주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine Nel Noddings theory of happiness education and to explore implications that are helpful for the change of the Korean educational society. First, we reviewed various discourses of the theory of happiness education that Nel Noddings argued, and explored specific implications for the Korean education society in terms of happiness education. The educational implications obtained through this study are largely a consideration of the essential purpose of education, the change of school in line with the paradigm of the new era, the utility as a joyful school based on happiness, and the need for educational content connected to the lives of students. Nel Noddings theory of happiness education gives great implications to the Korean educational society, which is struggling with various problems.
