국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 우울과 지연행동(학업, 일반)의 관계에서 그릿의 매개효과를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2019년 12월부터 2020년 2월까지 J지역의 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 남녀학생 350명을 대상으로 우울척도(CES-D), 일반지연행동척도(GP), 학업지연행동척도(API), 그릿척도(Grit-O)를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우울, 지연행동(학업, 일반), 그릿 간에 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 우울과 학업지연행동의 관계에서 그릿이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타 났다. 셋째, 우울과 일반지연행동의 관계에서 그릿이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 향후 상담현장에서 우울로 인한 지연행동(학업, 일반)문제를 호소하는 내담자 에게 그릿을 통한 개입 가능성에 대한 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 끝으로는 본 연구의 한계점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to establish a causal structural model through a structural equation to examine the mediating effect of grit in the relationship between college students depression and procrastination(academic, general), and to examine the fit of models and the influence of variables. To this end, from December 2019 to February 2020, 350 male and female students enrolled at a four-year university in J area were surveyed using depressive scale (CES-D), general procrastination scale (GP), academic procrastination scale (API), and grit-o. The research results were as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between depression, procrastination(academic, general) and grit. Second, grit was completely mediated in the relationship between depression and academic procrastination. Third, the relationship between depression and general procrastination showed that grit was completely mediated. Based on these results, it was revealed that delayed behavior due to depression can affect procrastination(academic, general) through grit. This is meaningful to provide useful data on the possibility of intervention through grit to clients complaining of procrastination(academic, general) problems caused by depression in the future counseling. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were made.
