국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 관계 상실을 경험한 대학생의 인지적 유연성이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 인지적 유연성과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 의미 재구성의 매개효과가 있는지 알아보는 것이다. 대학생을 대상으로 의미 재구성, 심리적 안녕감, 인지적 유연성 척도로 구성되어진 설문지를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하 였다. 수집된 310개의 응답 중 설문 응답이 명확했던 283명의 자료를 매개회귀 분석 하였다. 연구 결과로는 첫째, 인지적 유연성, 의미 재구성, 심리적 안녕감 세변인간 모두 유의미한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 의미재구성이 인지적 유연 성과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학생의 인지적 유연성이 심리적 안녕감에 직접적으로 영향을 주기도 하지만 의미재 구성을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과는 실제 상담 장면에서 관계상실 경험으로 인해 심리적 부적응을 경험하는 대학생에게 인지적 유연성, 의미 재구성 훈련의 인지적 대안활동을 모색하게 함으로써 심리적인 적응력을 높일 수 있도록 하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to examine a mediation effect of meaning reconstruction on the relationship between cognitive flexibility and psychological well-being of college students. For this purpose, the survey questionnaire administered to 310 college students. For data analysis, correlation coefficients were calculated among relational loss experience, cognitive flexibility, meaning reconstruction, psychological Well-being. The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, university students’s cognitive flexibility, meaning reconstruction, and psychological well-being showed a significant correlation. Second, meaning reconstruction was found to be an important mediating factor in cognitive flexibility and psychological well-being. the relationship between cognitive flexibility and psychological well-being was partially mediated by meaning reconstruction. These results can provide useful data in counseling to help students with a relational loss overcome their life crisis and enhance psychological well-being. Lastly, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
