학교폭력대책자치위원회 학부모위원의 활동경험과 지원방안에 대한 질적연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 학교폭력대책자치위원회(이하 학폭위) 학부모위원이 위원 활동을 하면서 심리적으로 어떤 경험을 하고 있는지 살펴보고, 위원 활동을 위한 지원방안을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2회 이상 학폭위에 참석 경험이 있는 학부모위원 10명을 대상으로 2019년 6월 7일부터 6월 20일까지 2개의 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 진행하였고, 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 5개의 주제 질문에 대해 내적동기, 외적동 기, 보상, 한계, 역할, 태도, 교육지원, 권한 및 보호체계, 자문지원, 의견, 대안 등 11 개의 영역에서 34개의 범주, 73개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 학부모위원은 위원 활동에 있어서 내적 동기가 높았으며, 긍정적 경험보다는 부정적 경험을 더 하였고, 학폭위 활동의 전문성을 위해 다양한 지원방안을 제안했다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점에 대해 논의하였으며, 제한점과 후속 연구에 대해서도 제언하 였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the psychological experiences of parents who are members of the Autonomous Committee for School Violence Countermeasures (hereinafter referred to as the autonomous committee) and to seek ways to support their activities. For this, 10 parent members who have attended the autonomous committee more than twice were interviewed dived into two focus groups from June 7th to June 20th, 2019 and the data was analyzed. The result showed that there can be 34 categories and 73 subcategories derived from 11 areas, including internal motivation, external motivation, compensation, limitations, roles, attitudes, educational support, authority and protection systems, advisory support, opinions and alternatives, for the 5 subject questions. Moreover, the parent members have encountered negative experiences more than positive ones but still they had high internal motivation for their activism, and proposed various support measures for the professionalism of the committee activities. Based on this, we have discussed the implications and limitations of the study and suggested areas for further research.
