국문 초록

이 연구는 웹툰의 문학성을 고찰하여 서사교육 제재로서 웹툰의 활용 가능성을 타진하는 것이 목적이다. 정보통신기술의 발달로 학습자들이 일상에서 향유하는 서사문학 향유 양상도 변화하고 있다. 이에 발맞추어 서사교육 제재의 폭을 넓히고 확대할 필요가 있다. 그러나 웹툰이 가진 문학적 가치에 대한 인식이 부족하여, 적극적 으로 문학적 제재로 활용되지 않고 있다. 이 글에서는 웹툰 <미생>의 문학성을 밝히고, 서사교육 제재로의 활용 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 웹툰 <미생>은 현대 사회의 노동 현실을 핍진하게 그려내는 가운데 아이러니한 서사 구성으로 현실을 비판 적으로 재현한다. 긍정적인 인물이 부정되는 현실의 아이러니를 드러냄으로써 인간을 상품화하고 수치화하는 자본주의의 현실을 드러낸다. 또한 능력의 발휘와 성취를 통한 자아의 실현이라는 신화 뒤에 숨은 자본주의의 목적을 아이러니하게 드러낸다. 이처럼 웹툰 <미생>이 지닌 문학적 가치는 이 작품을 중심으로 아이러니 및 사회적 실천과 비판적 인식을 교육할 수 있는 제재의 가능성을 확보할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the value of webtoons and examine the possibility of using them as a material text for narrative education. With the development of communication technology, the aspect of the enjoyment of epic literature enjoyed by learners in their daily lives is also changing. In line with this, it is necessary to expand and expand the scope of material text on narrative education. However, due to the lack of awareness of the value of webtoons, they are not actively explored by literary material text. This article used the webtoon as an example to reveal the literary nature of webtoons and explore the possibility of its use as a sanction for narrative education. The webtoon critically reproduces the reality with its ironic narrative, while portraying the labor reality of modern society tightly. By ironically revealing the reality that positive figures are negated, it reveals the reality of capitalism that commercializes and quantifies human beings. It also ironically reveals the purpose of capitalism behind the myth of the realization of self through the exercise of ability and achievement. As such, the literary value of the webtoon can secure the possibility of material text to educate the form of irony, social practice, and critical perception around the work.
