조직간 위험과 관계통제 방안

국문 초록

본 연구는 다음과 같은 연구 목적들을 달성하기 위해 수행되었다. 먼저, 기존의 2가지 형태의 조직간 위험(관계 위험과 성과 위험)을 4가지 유형(높은 관계 위험, 높은 성과 위험, 높은 양쪽 위험과 낮은 양쪽 위험)으로 확장, 구분하였다. 각각의 위험 유형별로 적합한 관계통제 방안은 무엇이며, 적합성이 확보될 경우 조직간 신뢰와 협력 수준이 제고되는지 규명하였다. 실제로 4가지 유형의 조직간 위험이 존재하는지 집락분석을 통해 입증하였는데, 5개의 집락들로써 이들을 확인하였다. 낮은 양쪽 위험의 경우, 높지 않은 행동통제와 성과통제의 사용이 높은 수준의 조직간 신뢰와 협력을 확보해준다는 것이 확인되었다. 높은 관계 위험 하에서 행동통제가 많이 사용되면 조직간 신뢰 및 협력 수준이 높아진다는 것이 파악되었다. 높은 양쪽 위험의 경우에는 행동통제, 성과통제와 조직간 정보교류가 저조하면 조직간 신뢰나 협력 수준은 떨어진다는 것을 연구결과가 보여주었다. 그리고 높은 성과위험의 경우에도 낮은 성과통제로 인해 조직간 신뢰 및 협력 수준이 낮다는 것을 파악하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the relationships among inter-organizational risks, inter-organizational control devices (ICDs), inter-organizational trust and cooperation. This study also examined the effects of fit between types of inter-organizational risks and forms of ICDs on the levels of inter-organizational trust and cooperation. This study classified types of inter-organizational risks into four kinds: high relational risk, high performance risk, high both risks, and low both risks. In the case of low both risks, it was observed that middle degrees of usage in behavior and performance ICDs can lead to high levels of inter-organizational trust and collaboration. In terms of high relational risk, it was found that high usage degrees of behavior ICDs can bring high levels of inter-organizational trust and cooperation. However, under high both risks, it was showed that low usage degrees of the behavior and performance ICDs as well as low levels of inter-organizational information flow can cause low levels of inter- organizational trust and collaboration. In the case of high performance risk, it was also found that low degrees of usage in performance ICDs can lead to low levels of inter-organizational trust and cooperation.
