연극영화를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램이 일반계 고등학교 학생들의 진로성숙도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 연극영화를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램이 일반계 고등학교 학생들에게 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연극영화를 활용한 진로교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위해 2015 개정 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 연극, 영화, 진로교육의 교육목표, 내용영역, 성취기준을 분석하였으며, Holland 검사의 진로 유형 구분을 참고하여 수업자료를 선정하였다. 학생들의 진로성숙도를 살펴보기 위해서는 양적·질적자료를 분석하였다. 양적자료 분석을 위해 일반계 고등학교 학생 180명을 대상으로 단일집단 사전·사후 진로성숙도 검사를 실시하였다. 질적자료는 학생들의 수업활동지와 수업소감문을 분석하였다. 본 연구결과, 학생들의 진로성숙도 향상은 ‘태도영역’의 계획성·독립성 2가지, ‘능력영역’의 자기이해·합리적 의사결정·희망직업 지식 3가지의 하위영역에서 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 질적 자료 분석결과, 학생들은 진로계획에서 대학진학을 가장 중요하게 여겼으며, 독립성의 정도에 따라 진로선택 및 책임에 대한 태도가 달랐고, 등장인물 직업 분석 및 스토리 창작을 통해 진로·직업 탐색 능력이 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 다만, ‘직업태도(태도영역)’와 ‘정보탐색(능력영역)’의 2가지 하위영역은 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되지 않아 이에 대한 부분이 프로그램에서 보완될 필요가 있다. 연구제언으로 일반교과와 연계된 예술 관련 진로교육 프로그램의 확대 및 프로젝트 학습법 적용에 대한 함의점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In the modern society, the job environment is constantly changing, and the talents required by society are changing accordingly. Through career education, students need to learn to be flexible to cope with unexpected events and to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. The purpose of this study was to develop a drama & film career education program for high school students and to examine its effectiveness. Participants of the current study were 180 students. The study used a mixed-method design with a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. As a result of the study, there were significant improvements in the pre and post test scores in the five sub-domains of students career maturity. However, the two sub-domains (occupational attitudes and information seeking abilities) of career maturity did not show statistically significant change. Results of the qualitative data analysis showed that, students focused on college admission and formed different attitudes regarding individual independence based on objective evaluation and personal subjective thinking. In addition, students understanding and interests in drama & film-related jobs increased. Based on study findings, we discussed implications for expanding and diversifying arts-related career education programs.
