국문 초록

본 연구는 특수교육 대상 학생의 희망진로 결정요인을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 특수교육 대상 학생의 진로·직업교육에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 분석자료는 ‘특수교육 실태조사’를 활용하였으며, 분석모형은 다항 로짓모형을 사용하였다. 분석대상은 중학생 1,692명, 고등학생 1,778명 등 총 3,470명이다. 분석결과 장애학생의 희망진로에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학교유형(특수학교, 특수학급, 파견·순회학급), 장애유형(시각장애, 청각장애, 지체장애), 진로 및 직업교육의 만족도가 유의하였으며, 고등학생의 경우 사교육 경험이 상급학교 진학에 유의하였다. 분석결과를 토대로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애학생에 대한 진로·직업교육을 강화하고 이에 대한 지원도 확대해야 한다. 특히 진로전담교사의 배치를 확대하고, 학부모에 대한 진로교육 및 관련 정보제공을 강화해야 한다. 둘째, 상급학교 진학을 위한 정보와 진학기회 확대를 위한 지원이 필요하다. 셋째, 학교유형 및 장애유형을 고려한 진로선택 프로그램 운영과 지원이 이루어져야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that determine the desired career path of students of special education and to present their implications for career and vocational education. The analysis used Special Education Status and Statistics data, and the analysis model used a multinomial logit model. The analysis was performed with a total of 3,470 students, including 1,692 middle school students and 1,778 high school students. According to the analysis, the factors affecting the career path of disabled students were school types (special schools, special classes, dispatch and rotation classes), disability types (visual, hearing and retardation disabilities), career and vocational education satisfaction was significant, and high school students paid attention to private education experience entering advanced schools. The conclusions based on the analysis results are as follows. First, career and vocational education for disabled students should be strengthened and support for them should be expanded. In particular, the government should expand the placement of career-only teachers, strengthen career education for parents and provide related information. Second, we need information for entering higher schools and support for expanding opportunities for entering higher schools. Third, the operation and support of career-selection programs should be provided in consideration of school types and disability types.
