온라인 기반 대학 글쓰기 수업 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 코로나19 상황에서 대학 교양 강좌인 대학 글쓰기 교육의 온라인 기반 운영 사례를 공유하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 수업 운영 상황 파악을 위해 K대학교 학사 일정과 온라인 수업 방법, 온라인 플랫폼을 고찰하였다. 수업 대상은 자연계열 동일 전공 1학년 36명이고, 수업에 활용한 온라인 플랫폼은 LMS(Learning Management System), Zoom, K대학교 통합정보시스템 내 E-class, 카카오톡 오픈채팅방이다. 1-4주차는 비실시간으로, 5주차부터는 실시간 온라인 수업으로 운영하였다. 온라인 수업 적응을 위해 교수-학습의 내용과 방법을 조절하여 1-6주차는 이론 강의로, 7주차부터는 이론과 활동을 병행하되 활동은 개인 활동(7-9주차)과 소집단 활동(10-14주차)으로 구성하였고 소집단 활동은 한 편의 글을 완성하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 강의평가결과 학습자들은 온라인 기반으로 운영된 글쓰기 교육에 높은 만족도를 보였다. 그러나 수업 설계 없이 진행된 온라인 교육에서 발생된 문제들도 있어 본고가 성찰의 자료로써 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to share the information of cases involving the management of online-based writing classes which is one of the extracurricular lectures offered at universities during the time of Covid-19. Undergraduate schedules, online lecture methods, and online platform used at K University had been analyzed to understand how the classes were managed. Those enrolled in the class were 36 1st freshmen from the same major in the department of natural science and online platforms used for this particular class were LMS(Learning Management System), Zoom, E-Class accessible through integrated information system within K University, and open chat room in Kakaotalk. The class was managed as non real-time class in the 1st to 4th week and then changed to online real-time class starting from the 5th week. To better adapt the class onto online platform the contents and methods had been adjusted to offer theoretical lectures during the 1st to 6th and other activities in addition to the existing lectures starting from the 7th week. This activities involved independent activities(7-9th week) and group activity(10-14th week), and the latter aimed to make the students complete a piece of writing. Based on the response acquired through lecture evaluation, the learners were highly satisfied with the writing lecture offered on online. However, some issues were reported as the online lecture proceeded without a solid lecture design. I hope to see that the information offered on this paper could serve as a data to reflect on the result of this online-based class.
