영문 초록

Yun Bong-gil’s independentist against Japanese Empire could be defined the theory of rural enlightenment, the theory of self-reliance independence, the theory of armed struggle, and the theory of liberty equality. He enforced not only campaign to abolish illiteracy but national education for farmers. He insisted the theory of self-reliance independence based on the pride of the ethnic culture because of his anti-Japanese thought. He also insisted the theory of armed struggle that Korean have to fight and bleed for the independence from Japanese empire. Eventually, he bequeathed to Korean young men a testament to struggle against Japanese empire by weapon, and he made outspread the theory of liberty equality that bottomed on the theory of natural rights. He seemed to be affected by Gaebyeok magazine that introduced Donghak thought and socialism. He asserted the theory of people’s revolution which farmers and laborers participate together with, and believed Korean must acquire independence by their efforts, not others support. But he did not believe in revolutionary ideology of socialism and anarchism. Because he payed attention to the ethnic discrimination rather than class discrimination. He was strong owner of nationalism.
