국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 3-5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 수록된 동화에 나타난 어휘를 분석하여 유아의 어휘 사용 특징을 파악하고, 유아의 언어 발달 특히, 어휘 교육과 관련된 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 3, 4, 5세 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 수록된 동화 161편을 대상으로 선정하였다. 연구도구로는 네트워크 분석 소프트웨어로 어휘 빈도를 분석하였고 등급별 국어교육용 어휘를 사용하여 어휘 난이도를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 3-5세 누리과정 교사용지도서의 동화에 나타난 어휘 빈도는 엄마/말, 사람, 친구, 아이, 나무의 순서로 나타났으며 대체적으로 일상생활에 필요한 기본어휘와 영·유아기 언어수준에 적합한 어휘가 사용된 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 교사용 지도서 내 동화를 활용하거나 책이나 이야기를 통하여 유아에게 일상생활에 필요한 의사소통 능력과 상상력을 기르기 위하여 말하기, 읽기와 쓰기와 관련한 놀이를 지원할 때 사용할 수 있는 교수매체를 선정하거나 언어능력증진 프로그램 및 언어력 검사에 적정한 어휘 정보를 제공하는데 기여할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the vocabulary appearing in fairy tales contained in the 3-year-old Nuri course teacher s guidebook to identify the characteristics of vocabulary use, and to provide basic data related to language development in children, especially vocabulary education. For the study, 161 fairy tales included in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th year old Nuri course teacher s guide were selected as subjects. As a research tool, vocabulary frequency was analyzed with network analysis software, and vocabulary difficulty was analyzed using vocabulary for Korean language education by grade. As a result of the study, the frequency of vocabulary in the fairy tales in the 3-year-old Nuri course teacher s guide was found in the order of mother/word, person, friend, child, and tree, and is generally suitable for basic vocabulary required for daily life and language level in early childhood. It turns out that the vocabulary was used. Therefore, this study provides information on appropriate vocabulary that can be used to support play related to speaking, reading, and writing in order to develop communication skills and imagination necessary for everyday life for infants through books or stories using fairy tales in teacher s guides.
