대학생 진로의사결정과 진로만족의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 진로의사결정, 진로타협, 진로만족의 관계를 살펴보고, 진로의사결정과 진로만족의 관계에서 진로타협(가치타협, 흥미타협, 사회적지위 타협)의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2015년 9월부터 10월까지 전국의 15개 4년제 대학의 재학생 487명을 대상으로 진로의사결정, 진로타협, 진로만족을 측정하였다. 연구 자료는 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 검증방법과 Sobel Test를 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 진로의사결정은 진로만족에 유의미한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 대학생의 인구통계학적 변인(나이, 성별, 학년, 전공계열)을 통제했을 때, 진로의사결정과 진로만족의 관계에서 진로타협의 내용 중 가치타협과 흥미타협의 매개효과가 있었고, 사회적지위 타협의 효과는 없었다. 이를 바탕으로 진로상담 연구 및 진로상담 실제에서의 의의와 시사점 그리고 본 연구의 한계에 대해서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of career compromise on the relationship between career decision and career satisfaction of Korean college students. For this aim, 487 Korean college students participated in this study and their levels of career decision, career, compromise and career satisfaction were assessed. We used Baron and Kenny(1986)’s mediation test procedure and Sobel test to analyze the data. As results, there was a significant and positive relationship between career decision and career satisfaction. In addition, when demographic variables(age, gender, grade, major field) were controlled, we found the mediational effect of career compromise on the relationship between career decision and career satisfaction. With findings of this study, we offered implications and limitations of the present study as well as recommendations for the future research.
