유아교사의 다문화경험이 다문화수용성과 다문화교육태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 다문화경험이 다문화수용성과 다문화교육태도에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 G시에 근무하는 유아교사 253명을 대상으로 2019년 11월 11일부터 11월 22일까지 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 다문화경험과 다문화수용성과의 관계에서는 유아교사의 문화개방성에 학교와 교육현장경험, 가족·친인척경험이 영향요인으로 나타났으며, 국민정체성에는 학교와 교육현장경험이 영향요인으로 검증되었다. 둘째, 다문화경험과 다문화교육태도와의 관계에서는 다문화적 환경에 대한 태도, 다문화적 교사역할에 대한 태도, 교사교육과 교육과정에 대한 태도에 학교와 교육현장경험이 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 유아교사의 다문화적 역량을 높이는데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의미를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence multicultural experience of infant teachers on multicultural acceptability and multicultural education attitude. To that end, 253 infant teachers working in G city were surveyed from November 11 to November 22, 2019. According to the study, first of all, in the relationship between multicultural experience and multicultural availability of infant teachers, the experience of schools and educational sites, and family and relatives were the factors that affected the opening of the culture of infant teachers. In national identity, experience in schools and education sites has been verified as an influence factor. Second, in the relationship between multicultural experience and multicultural education attitude, the attitude toward multicultural environment, the attitude toward multicultural teacher role, and the attitude toward teacher education and curriculum were identified as the factors affecting school and educational field experience. These results are meaningful in that they can be used as basic data to enhance the multicultural capabilities of infant teachers.
