예비 국어교사의 수업전문성 ‘성장과 딜레마’에 관한 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 사범대학교 독서교육론 수업에 참여한 세 명의 예비 국어교사가 겪은 수업전문성 성장과 딜레마에 관해서 심층적으로 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해 수업실연 동영상, 수업실연 평가표, 교사의 자기 효능감과 직무만족도 검사, 수업실연 후 소감문, 반구조화된 질문지, 심층면담 등을 통해서 자료를 살펴보았다. 자료 분석은 교육비평의 형식으로 표현하였으며, 그 결과는 크게 다음의 두 가지로 종합할 수 있다. 첫째, 국어교사의 전문성 발달과 성장의 측면에서 볼 때, 주목받지 못하던 예비 교사의 시기는 하나의 단계로 통칭할 수 없는 복잡한 양상을 가지는 점이 도출되었다. 이에 따라서 이러한 양상에 대한 사려 깊은 고려가 사범대학 교육과정에 반영되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 예비 국어교사는 자신의 수업 딜레마를 부분적으로 인식하고 있었으며 이것이 수업 설계와 실행에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이 딜레마의 원인과 양상에 대해 국어교사의 전문성 발달의 중요한 요소로서 주목하고 다룰 수 있어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine in detail the growth and dilemma of the professionalism of three pre-service Korean language teachers who participated in the reading education course of the university. In order to do this, we examined the data through class-demonstration videos, evaluation of class performances, teachers’ self-efficacy and job satisfaction test, post- class testimonies, semi-structured questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis is expressed in the form of educational criticism, and the results can be summarized in two main ways. First, in terms of the professional development and growth of the Korean language teacher, it is derived that the pre-teacher’s time, which is not noticed, has a complicated aspect that can not be collectively referred to as a single stage. Second, the preliminary Korean language teachers partially perceived their class dilemma and this was influencing the instructional design and execution.
