영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore a development strategy of island tourism resources through analysis of the trends of island tourism research. In order to achieve this goal, I performed a study on island tourism research in Korea based on the database of national assembly library. As the result of the research, this study shows that island tourism research in Korea can be divided into six types. In this context, this study presents a typology of island tourism research results as an attempt to search for a development strategy of island tourism resources in future.
