영아의 성, 연령, 기질 및 어머니와의 심리적·행동적 조화적합성이 사회정서발달에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 영아의 성, 연령, 기질과 어머니의 심리적·행동적 조화적합성이 영아의 사회정서발달에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 구체적으로 조망하고자 하였다. 서울을 포함한 5개 지역에 소재한 어린이집에 재원중인 만 1세 159명, 만 2세 173명의 어머니와 그들의 담당 교사를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 이원변량분석, 대응표본 t검증, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성과 연령에 따른 기질에서는 접근회피성과 반응강도는 만 2세반이, 적응성은 여아가 높게 나타났으며, 사회정서발달에서는 기본정서 및 사회적 행동은 여아가 남아보다, 자아개념은 만 2세반이, 자기조절 및 인지조절에서는 여아와 만 2세가, 사회적 관계는 만 2세가 유의하게 높았다. 또한 어머니가 영아에게 기대하는 심리적 조화적합성과 실제 행동으로 요구하는 행동적 조화적합성간에서는 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 적응성은 행동적 조화적합성이 높았던 반면 적응성을 제외하고는 심리적 조화적합성이 높았다. 특히 적응성에 대한 심리적 조화적합성이 높을수록 사회정서발달이 높았으며, 기분에 대한 행동적 조화적합성이 낮을수록, 접근회피성에 대한 행동적 조화적합성이 낮을수록 사회정서발달이 높게 나타났다. 성별과 연령에서는, 남아보다 여아가, 만 1세보다 만 2세가 사회정서발달이 높았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to have detailed observation on how the infant’s temperament and infant-mother’s psychological and behavioral goodness-of-fit on the social and emotional development of the infant. The objects of this study are mothers of 159 1-year-old infants and 173 2-year-old infants. The results were as follows. First, in the difference of temperament based on the gender and age of infant, the older groups showed significantly higher approach avoidance and response intensity while boys showed significantly high adaptability than girls. Secondly, in the analysis of social-emotional development based on the gender and age, girls showed significantly high fundamental emotions and social behaviors while the older showed significantly high self-concept. In addition, the self-regulation and cognitive regulation were significantly high in girls and 2-year-old infants. Also, the two-year-old infants showed significantly high social relationship. Third, there was a significant difference in psychological goodness-of-fit and behavioral goodness-of-fit that the mother expect for a infant. Fourth, among the factors that influence on social and emotional development of infants, the infants showed higher social behavior, self-concept, self-regulation, cognitive regulation, and social relation when the psychological goodness-of-fit for adaptability was high. On the other hand, the infants showed higher fundamental emotion and social behavior when the behavior goodness-of-fit for the feeling was lower. In addition, the infants had higher self-regulation and cognitive regulation when the behavior goodness-of-fit for approach avoidance was low. Furthermore, age and gender had significant influence on the social and emotional development. Girls and older groups showed higher social and emotional development than boys and younger groups.
