예비유아교사를 위한 ‘유아 교과 논리 및 논술’ 교과목 운영현황 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘유아 교과 논리 및 논술’ 과목의 정체성과 방향성 확립을 위한 기초자료를 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관련 현장에서 수행되고 있는 교과목 운영실태와 현황에 대해 살펴봄으로써 현재 ‘유아 교과 논리 및 논술’과목의 운영현황에 대해 이해하고 앞으로 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 유아교원양성기관에서 운영되고 있는 ‘유아 교과 논리 및 논술’ 교과목은 과목명칭, 개설시기, 개설학점에 있어 학교에 따라 다양하게 운영되는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 유아교과 논리 및 논술 과목의 운영현황을 살펴본 결과 수업목표 및 대상에 있어 지식의 ‘적용’과 ‘종합’에 대한 수업목표를 대상으로 유아와 교사의 두 영역에 대한 논리 및 논술을 다루고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수업내용에서는 논리, 창의성, 유아, 논술, 발달, 활동 등을 주로 다루는 것으로 나타났다. 수업방법에서는 이론식 강의와 토의, 토론 등의 전통적 교수법을 주로 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 가장 비중있게 사용되고 있는 평가방법은 ‘중간고사’와 ‘과제’, ‘기말고사’ 등으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 유아교사양성기관에서 유아 논리 및 논술 교과목에서 다루어져야 할 교육적 함의에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed at establishing the basic data to set the identity and direction of the course Logic and Essay Writing in Early Childhood . For this purpose, this study examined the current status of the course that has been implemented in the field, and analyzed the related textbooks in detail to understand. the scope currently covered in the course Logic and Essay Writing in Early Childhood and suggest a future direction. The results are as follows. First, it was found that the course Logic and Essay Writing in Early Childhood’ adopted in the training institutions for early childhood teachers was operated in various ways according to the school in terms of the name, time and credits of the course. Second, the analysis of the operation status of the course Logic and Essay writing in Early Childhood shows that the class covered the logic and essay writing on the two areas of young children and teachers with the application and integration of knowledge as the class objectives and subjects. In addition, the contents of the class mainly contained logic, creativity, early childhood, essay writing, development and activities. As for the teaching method, traditional teaching methods such as theory lectures, debates and discussions were mainly used. Lastly, the most important assessment methods included midterm exams, assignments, and final exams. Based on these results, this study discussed the educational implications that should be addressed in the course Logic and Essay Writing in Early Childhood in the training institutes for early childhood teachers.
