유아교사의 정서지능, 직무만족도와 교사효능감이 교사-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 정서지능, 직무만족도와 교사 효능감이 교사-유아간 상호작용에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 있으며, 연구대상은 경기도 소재 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 유아교사 294명이다. 교사의 일반적 변인에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 분석한 결과 경력에 따라 정서지능의 하위변인 중 ‘타인정서인식’, 교사효능감이 하위변인인 ‘자기조절 효능감’에서 10년 이상의 교사집단이 유의하게 높음을 알 수 있었다. 교사-유아 상호작용 전체와 하위변인인 정서적 상호작용, 언어적 상호작용, 행동적 상호작용에서 전문대졸업보다 대학교 졸업유아교사가 더 높았으며, 교사-유아교사 정서지능 전체는 직무만족도, 교사효능감, 교사-유아간 상호작용과도 정적 상관이 있었다. 또한, 교사-유아간 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 자기조절 효능감, 정서조절, 사회적인식 및처우, 근무기관규모에 대한 직무만족도 순으로 나타났다. 이 연구를 통하여 교사-유아간의 상호작용을 분석하고 유아의 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 예측변인을 파악하였다. 따라서 교사의 정서지능, 교사효능감, 직무만족도를 다차원적으로 조망함으로써, 교사-유아간 상호작용을 긍정적으로 도모하고 방안모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the effect of emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and teacher efficacy on teacher-preschooler interaction. Subject to the study are 294 teachers and the results of the study are as follows: First, the groups of teachers over 10 years were significantly higher in emotional intelligence and teacher efficacy. The University-graduated teachers were higher than college graduates in emotional, verbal and behavioral interactions. In addition, 80 people were more higher than 40 to 80 people in job satisfaction and sub-factors. Second, job satisfaction, teacher efficacy and job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had positive relation with teacher-preschooler interaction. Third, the variables affecting teacher-preschooler interaction were self-regulatory efficacy, emotional control, and job satisfaction with the size of the working institution. This study can be meaningful in that it provided basic data for finding ways to positively promote teacher-preschooler interaction by viewing teachers emotional intelligence, teacher efficacy and job satisfaction in a multi-dimensional manner as well as teachers personal variables.
