대학생의 고효과 프로그램 참여도와 교수-학생 상호작용이 대학몰입에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 고효과 프로그램 참여도와 교수-학생 상호작용이 대학몰입에 미치는 차별적인 영향력을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2019학년도 학부교육 실태조사(K-NSSE)를 통해 수집된 D대학교의 자료를 활용하였다. 대학생의 고효과 프로그램 유형별 참여도와 교수-학생상호작용을 독립변인으로 하고, 이러한 유형들이 대학몰입에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 2개의 중다회귀모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 먼저 대학생의 고효과 프로그램 참여도와 교수-학생 상호작용, 대학몰입 간의 관련성을 확인하였다. 다음으로 대학몰입의 총변화량에 고효과 프로그램 참여도는 22%의 설명량을 교수-학생 상호작용은 18%의 설명량을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 대학생의 대학몰입에 영향을 미치는 유의한 고효과 프로그램 유형과 교수-학생 상호작용 유형을 확인하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 논의와 후속 연구를 제안하였으며, 궁극적으로 대학에서 사용하는 고효과 프로그램의 효과성 평가를 통해 추후 대학 의사결정자들의 프로그램 설계 및 개발에 도움을 주고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the differential effects of college students high-impact educational practices and professor-student interaction on institutional commitment. For the above purpose, the data of D university collected through 2019 Korea-National Survey of Student Engagement(K-NSSE) was used. Student s high-impact educational practices and professor-student interaction were independent variables, and the effects on institutional commitment were analyzed using two multiple regression models. The results of this study are as follows. First, there were relations between high-impact educational practices, professor-student interaction and institutional commitment. Second, It was found that high-impact educational practices was showing explanation-ability of 22%, and professor-student interaction was showing explanation-ability of 18%. Lastly, significant high-impact educational practices’ types and professor-student interaction’ types were identified to affect institutional commitment. Based on the results of the study, the improvement directions were discussed and further studies were suggested. Through the assessment of the effectiveness of high-impact educational practices used by universities, it was intended to help university decision makers design and develop future high-impact educational practices.
