국문 초록

북한에 대한 균형 있는 이해는 통일교육의 중요한 목표 중 하나이다. 북한에 대한 균형 있는 이해를 위해서는 북한의 정치와 경제, 사상 등과 더불어 실제 북한 주민들의 삶에 대한 객관적 이해가 선행되어야 할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 먼저 통일교육의 기본 방향과 통일교육의 내용에 대한 분석을 통해 북한 주민들의 삶에 대한 객관적 이해가 가능한 영역이 무엇인지를 밝히고 2015 교육과정에서 제시한 도덕과 통일교육의 내용 분석과 적용의 한계를 제시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 북한에 대한 균형 있는 이해를 위해 북한 일상생활 연구 성과들을 수업에 적용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 여러 제한에도 불구하고 상호문화교육에 기반한 이러한 수업 방안이 북한에 대한 균형 있는 이해에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

A balanced understanding of North Korea is one of the important goals of unification education. In order to have a balanced understanding of North Korea, it is necessary to have an objective understanding of North Korean politics, economy, ideology, and the lives of North Koreans. To this end, this paper first reveals the areas where objective understanding of the lives of North Koreans is possible through the analysis of the basic direction of unification education and the contents of unification education, and analyzes the content of unification education with the mora education curriculum presented in the 2015 curriculum. The limitations of over-application are presented. Based on this, I tried to find a way to apply the research results of everyday life to North Korea in order to achieve a balanced understanding of North Korea. Despite various limitations, we expect that these teaching methods based on cross-cultural education will help to achieve a balanced understanding of North Korea.
