The Impact of Perceived Value on Tourism Satisfaction in Leisure Districts: Focusing on Female Tourists

Purpose The leisure district is a new type of tourism that is rapidly rising in the mass tourism era, and it is gradually favored by tourists, so its tourist satisfaction is also valued accordingly. According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, Perceived Value is a vital antecedent variable for customer satisfaction, which is also an indispensable part of the research on customer satisfaction. With the development of the times, the status of female tourists in tourism activities has gradually improved, and most women have become the leaders of travel decisions. Therefore, it is essential to understand the measurement standards of female tourists’ perceived value and satisfaction with tourist destinations.
Design/Methodology/Approach In this context, this paper takes Jinan tourism and leisure shopping districts as an example, based on customer satisfaction theory, constructs a tourist satisfaction model of leisure districts, and conduct analysis by adopting SPSS software and structural equation model (AMOS) for empirical research.
Findings The article explores the impact of perceived value on the satisfaction of leisure districts from the perspective of female tourists, and examines the interaction between variables in the model. The results show that for female tourists visiting Jinan tourism and leisure shopping districts, perceived value has a significant direct impact on tourist satisfaction.
Moreover, tourist expectations and perceived quality have a significant direct effect on tourist satisfaction.
Research Implications In this context, this article creatively chooses to explore the impact of perceived value on the satisfaction of leisure districts from the perspective of female tourists and conducts case analysis with Jinan leisure districts as the research object to find that the interactive relationship between perceived value and tourist satisfaction so as to understand the current situation of female tourist satisfaction with Jinan leisure districts and clarify the key factors affecting female tourist satisfaction.
