K-MOOC에서 교수실재감, 학습참여도, 학습만족도의 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 MOOC 학습환경에서 교수실재감과 학습참여도, 학습만족도의 관계를 파악하고, 교수실재감과 학습만족도의 관계에서 학습참여도가 매개 역할을 하는지 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 수도권 A대학의 K-MOOC 강좌를 수강하는 학습자로 총 155명이 설문에 참여하였으며, 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석, Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 교수실재감과 학습참여도, 학습만족도는 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 교수실재감과 학습참여도가 높을수록 학습만족도는 높아졌다. 둘째, 교수실재감과 학습만족도의 관계에서 학습참여도가 부분매개 역할을 하였다. 이러한 결과는 K-MOOC을 수강하는 학습자의 학습만족도를 높이기 위해서는 교수실재감 뿐만 아니라 학습자들이 K-MOOC에서 적극적으로 학습에 참여할 수 있도록 행동적 참여 및 인지적 참여 요소를 가미한 다양하고 실재적인 교수설계전략이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the relationship among teaching presence, learning participation, and learners’ satisfaction in the massive open online course (MOOC) environment. It additionally verified whether learning participation plays a mediating role between teaching presence and learners’ satisfaction. Intending to include learners taking a course in a K-MOOC at University A in the metropolitan area, the study had 155 participants completing the questionnaire. Correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and Sobel Test were performed. Results indicated a significant positive correlation among teaching presence, learning participation, and learners’ satisfaction. In particular, the higher the degree of teaching presence and participation in learning leads to a higher the level of learners’ satisfaction. Learners’ participation was also found to have played a mediating role between teaching presence and learners’ satisfaction. These results therefore suggest that in order to increase learners’ satisfaction in taking K-MOOC, various and practical teaching strategies are needed so learners would actively participate in learning in K-MOOC.
