부모양육태도가 중학생의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 부모양육태도가 중학생의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하며, 자아존중감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018데이터를 활용하여 중학교 1학년 2,590명을 연구대상자로 선정하여 2020년 3월부터 연구를 시작하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모양육태도의 따스함, 자율성지지, 구조제공, 거부, 전체 부모양육태도가 중학생의 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 부모양육태도의 따스함, 자율성지지, 구조제공, 전체 부모양육태도와 삶의 만족도 간에 부분매개효과가 나타났다. 이를 통해 중학생의 삶의 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 논의와 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of parent-rearing attitudes on the satisfaction with life of middle school students, and to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem. To that end, 2,590 first-year middle school students were selected as subjects of research using the 2018 data of the Korea and Youth Panel Survey, and the research was started in March 2020. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed using the SPSS 25.0 program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the warmth of parent-rearing attitude, autonomy support, provision of structure, rejection, and overall parent-rearing attitude had a significant impact on middle school students satisfaction with life. Second, self-esteem showed a partial mediating effect between the warmth of parent-rearing attitude, autonomy support, provision of structure, overall parent-rearing attitude and life satisfaction. Through this, discussions and implications were presented to improve the life satisfaction of middle school students.
