국문 초록

본 연구는 교양 수업을 통한 대학생의 평가적 사고 개발 가능성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 평가적 사고의 개념과 개발 방법을 살펴보고, 평가적 사고 개발을 위한 A대학의 교양수업 사례를 분석하였다. 평가적 사고 개발 수업은 학습자의 평가 경험 활동을 중심으로, 평가 이론 학습과 성찰 촉진 활동이 연계 구성되었으며, 크게 평가에 대한 이해, 평가에 대한 평가, 평가적 사고 개발의 3가지 주제로 진행되었다. 평가적 사고 개발 전략의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 학습자 평가 경험 활동으로 ‘일상에서의 평가 분석’, ‘내 맘대로 평가’, ‘도서관을 평가하라’, ‘시험문항 개발’, ‘Assessment Center 실습’ 등이 활용되었다. 수업에 참여한 학습자들에게서 평가의 두려움을 극복하고, 평가적 사고를 일상에서 활용하며, 질문과 성찰을 체화하는 등 긍정적인 변화를 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 평가적 사고의 의미와 가치를 탐색하였으며, 구체적인 사례를 통해 향후 교양수업에의 활용 가능성을 발견하였다는데 그 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of the development of evaluative thinking among university students through liberal arts classes. To this end, I reviewed literature on the definition of concept and development methods of evaluation thought was reviewed. Cases of liberal arts classes at A University for the development of evaluative thinking were analyzed. This class was centered on the activities of the learner s evaluation experience, and the activities of the evaluation theory learning, as well as those of reflection promotion activities. The subjects of the class include understanding evaluation, the evaluation of the evaluation cases, and development of evaluative thinking. Student evaluation experience activities included Analysis of Evaluation in Daily Life, Evaluation on My Own, Evaluate Library, Development of Test Questions and Assessment Center Practice. The learners who participated in the class changed in a positive way, overcoming their fears of evaluation, using evaluative thinking in their daily lives, and getting used to questions and reflections. This study explored the meaning and value of evaluative thinking and found much potential for its future use in liberal arts classes.
