병영생활 전문상담관의 직무만족에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 병영생활 전문상담관의 유형에 따른 직무만족도를 조사하였다. 연구는 국방부 병영생활 전문상담관 총 199명 중 160명을 대상으로, 국방부 병영생활상담관 소집회의 간 국방부 관계자에 의해 설문을 진행하였다. PASW 18 통계프로그램을 사용하여 자료를 분석한 다음 유의수준 .01에서 추정된 모수치의 통계적 유의성을 검증했다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면, 첫째, 성별에 따른 직무만족도를 분석한 결과, 남성이 여성에비해 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 임용 전 출신에 따른 직무만족도를 분석한 결과, 군 간부 출신 상담관이 민간인 출신에 비해 직무만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 병영생활 전문상담관의 근속연수에 따른 직무만족도를 분석한 결과, 전체적인 만족도는 초임, 3년차 이상, 2년차 이상 상담관 순으로 나타났다. 연령에 따른 직무만족도를 분석한 결과, 50대 이상이 직무만족이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 병영생활 전문상담관의 보수 현실화, 전방지역 근무하는 상담관들에 대한 후생복지 투자, 전문성 향상 기회 제공, 군 문화 이해를 위한 교육 제공, 성과급 지급, 직업안정성 보장을 제안하고, 교육적 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the job satisfaction of Barracks life professional counselors in South Korea military. 160 Barracks life professional counselors who belong to the Ministry of National Defense participated in the survey research. The collected date were conducted using IBM SPSS statistics software. First, men counselors job satisfaction level was higher compared with women. Second, the present study found that counselors who are retied military were more satisfied with their job than those from civilians. Third, new appointed counselors showed highest job satisfaction level. Fourth, counselors over the age of 50s also showed highest job satisfaction level. Based on these results, the present study suggests future direction; actualize wages, investment in welfare, offers opportunities for increased expertise, providing education for understanding military culture, performance bonus payment, job-stability guarantee, and educational implication.
