대학 생활 만족도 향상을 위한 대학축제 교육 프로그램 운영 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학축제기간동안 새롭게 진행된 교육 프로그램 운영 사례를 살펴보고 프로그램 내실화를 위한 개선방안을 도출해내고자 했다. 축제 기간에 진행된 교육 프로그램은 학생들에게 새로운 대학축제 문화를 소개하고 경험하도록 하여 학업 동기 유발을 높이고자 했다. 다양한 전공/진로 체험을 할 수 있도록 학과(부)에서 1개 이상의 프로그램을 개발·운영하도록 하였으며 총 77개의 비교과 프로그램이 운영되었다. 운영 결과, 학생들은 프로그램에 매우 만족했으며(4.63점), 4학년보다는 나머지 학년의 학생들이 참여에 높은 만족도를 보였다. 또한 자기 전공 프로그램보다 타 전공 프로그램에 참여했을 때 더 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 학업에 대한 긍정적 인식, 사회적 관계 발전, 그리고 대학 소속감/자부심을 경험함으로써 개인 성장의 기회를 얻을 수 있었다. 이번 결과는 대학축제가 새로운 교육 문화로 정착될 수 있는 가능성을 보여 주었으며, 교육 프로그램 운영과 관련하여 몇 가지 문제점을 도출한 후 개선 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find ways of improving K-university festival through identifying advantages and disadvantages of university festival. The programs held during the festival aimed to increase students’ academic motivation by introducing and experiencing university festival culture. In order to experience various majors and careers, the department has developed and managed one or more programs, and a total of 77 programs were run during the festival. As a result, students were very satisfied with new festival programs(4.63 points). Among the students, seniors were somewhat less satisfied with programs than other groups of students. In addition, students were more satisfied when they experienced in programs related to other majors than programs related to their own major. They also developed positive perception toward academic, social relationships, a sense of belonging, and commitment by participating in festival programs. Finally, this study addressed issues arisen in the operation of the programs and suggested practical implications.
