고등학생의 치매에 대한 지식, 이미지 및 태도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 고령화 추세와 더불어 급증하고 있는 치매노인들의 조호와 치매 복지 정책 수립 과정의 핵심 구성원이 될 고등학생을 대상으로 보건계열 및 비보건계열 전공에 따라 치매에 대한 지식, 이미지 및 태도를 조사하여 교육과정과 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 제공하고자 시도하였다. 연구 대상은 보건특성화고등학교와 공업특성화고등학교에 재학 중인 학생이며 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 2019년 9월 2일부터 9월 27일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 보건계열 고등학생은 비보건계열 고등학생보다 치매에 대한 지식, 태도는 높았고 치매에 대한 이미지는 부정적이었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 치매에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 두 그룹 모두 치매에 대한 지식으로 확인 되었으며 보건계열은 47.4%의 설명력과 비보건계열은 56.2%의 설명력을 보였다. 전공에 따라 치매에 대한 지식의 다른 하위영역이 치매에 대한 태도의 영향 요인으로 작용한 것을 고려하여 전공별로 차별화 된 교육과정 및 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to measure the difference of knowledge, image, attitude toward dementia between nursing-specialized and non-health-specialized in students of vacational highschool and identify the factors affect attitude toward dementia. A cross-sectional descriptive design was conducted from September 2 to September 27, 2019 among 119 students of nursing-specialized and 115 students of non-health specialized. Measures were the knowledge of dementia, the image toward dementia, the attitude toward dementia. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Students of nursing-specialized showed higher scores in knowledge and attitude toward dementia, lower scores in image toward dementia. There were differences between them about other predictors that was found to have influence on attitude toward dementia. The prediction model in students of nursing-specialized was explained 47.7%, in non-health-specialized was explained 56.2%. In conclusion, these findings showed that the knowledge of dementia is important factors to improve the attitude toward dementia. Therefore it is necessary to develop curriculum and educational programs considering highschool students major, Programs and educations enhancing knowledge and positive attitude toward dementia is needed, there needs to be developing in a proactive manner.
