부모의 부부갈등 및 공동양육이 아동의 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 가족체계 안에서 어머니와 아버지의 상호의존성을 확인하고 아동의 외현화 문제행동과의 구조적 관계 분석을 통해 어머니와 아버지의 부부갈등과 아동의 외현화 문제행동과의 관계에서 공동양육이 매개역할을 하는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 상호의존모형을 사용하여 부모의 부부갈등이 공동양육에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과를 검증하였고, 부부갈등과 아동의 외현화 문제행동과의 관계에서 공동양육의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 한국아동패널의 7차(2014년)∼8차년도(2015년)에 모두 참여한 아동 1,174명과 그들의 어머니와 아버지 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 어머니와 아버지의 부부갈등이 자신의 가족통합적 공동양육과 상대방의 가족통합적 공동양육에 부적인 영향을 미쳤고 자신의 갈등적 공동양육과 상대방의 갈등적 공동양육에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 어머니의 부부갈등과 아버지의 부부갈등은 아동의 외현화 문제행동과의 관계에서 어머니의 가족통합적 공동양육을 통하여 매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 부부관계와 부-모-자녀 관계에서 나타나는 공동양육의 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study identified the interdependence of mothers and fathers in the family system and analyzed the structural relationship with children s externalization problem behavior. I have tried to explore whether joint coparenting plays a mediating role in the relationship between the mother s marriage conflict and the child s externalization problem behavior. This study used an interdependent model to investigate the actor and partner effects of mother and father s marital conflict on coparenting. We used data from 1,174 mothers and fathers and 1,174 children in the 7th to 8th years of the Korean Children s Panel. As a result, first, mother and father s marital conflict had negative effects on their own family integrity coparenting and their partner s family integrity coparenting. And mother and father s marital conflict had positive effects on their own conflict coparenting and their partner s conflict coparenting. Second, Mother s marital conflict and father s marital conflict had a mediating effect on the mother s family integrity coparenting in relation to children s externalization problem behavior. Based on the results of this study, the importance of joint coparenting in marital relations and father-mother-child relations was discussed.
