부모의 자율성 지지와 구조제공이 아동의 그릿을 매개로 아동의 협동심에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 자율성 지지와 구조제공, 아동의 그릿 및 협동심 간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 부모의 자율성 지지와 구조제공이 아동의 협동심에 미치는 영향에서 아동의 그릿의 매개역할을 탐색하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하고자 한국아동·청소년패널조사2018의 초등학교 4학년 패널의 1차 연도 자료(초등학교 4학년 아동 2,607명)를 사용해 변인 간 관련성을 분석하였다. 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식모형 분석을 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 부모의 자율성 지지와 구조제공, 아동의 그릿 및 협동심 간에 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 부모의 자율성 지지는 아동의 협동심에 직접 영향을 미치지 않고 아동의 그릿에 정적 영향을 미쳐 아동의 협동심에 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 즉 부모의 자율성 지지가 아동의 협동심에 미치는 영향을 아동의 그릿이 완전매개하였다. 셋째, 부모의 구조제공은 아동의 협동심에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미칠 뿐 아니라 아동의 그릿을 부분 매개하여 간접적인 영향도 미쳤다. 이와 같은 결과는 아동의 협동심을 향상하기 위해 부모의 자율성 지지와 구조제공, 아동의 그릿이 중요함을 밝힌 것으로 아동의 협동심 증진 방안 개발 시 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

The major purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parental autonomy support and structure on child s cooperation. This study determines the mediating effect of child s grit. The participant sample was derived from the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey 2018(KCYPS 2010), and the data of 2,607 children(4th grade in the elementary school) was analyzed. To process the results, descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, and confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling were employed. As a result, first, there is a significant relationship among the parental autonomy support and structure, child s grit, cooperation. Second, the parental autonomy support dont have a significant direct effect on the child s cooperation. The child s grit was shown to fully mediate the effect of parental autonomy support on the child s cooperation. Thirdly, the child’s grit was shown to partially mediate the effect of the parental structure on the child cooperation. This study can be used as a standard for future development of interventions to enhance child s cooperation.
