고등학생의 배경 변인별 학교안전교육 인식 실태 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 학교안전교육 내실화를 기하기 위하여 고등학생들의 학교안전교육 7대 표준안 영역별 인식실태를 파악하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 교육부에서 교육 분야 안전종합대책의 일환으로 2015년 2월 ‘학교안전교육 7대 표준안(이하 표준안)’에 대하여 2019년 9월 3일부터 9월 17일 2주에 걸쳐 대전, 충남, 충북지역 고등학교 1, 2, 3학년 남녀 학생 403명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 인식실태를 분석하였다. 연구결과 ‘학교안전교육 7대 표준안’에 대한 학생들의 인식은 폭력 및 신변안전이 가장 높았으며, 다음으로 응급처치, 생활안전, 교통안전, 재난안전, 직업안전, 약물·사이버 중독의 순으로 나타났다. 그리고 ‘학교안전교육 7대 표준안’ 중 생활안전, 약물·사이버 중독, 응급처치에서 성별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 남학생들이 여학생보다 이론과 실습에 대한 이해도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 약물·사이버 중독, 직업안전에서 학년별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 특히 고1 학생들이 상대적으로 학교 안전교육에 대한 실시 경험이 많았으며, 안전교육의 필요성과 중요성을 더욱 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 가정과 지역사회와 연계 및 협력을 통한 학교 안전교육 프로그램을 개발하여 기능을 발휘할 수 있는 후속연구를 통해 학생들이 안전한 학교생활이 정착되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the recognition of high school students in the 7 standard areas of school safety education in order to improve school safety education. The subjects of this study were 403 high school students in the first, second and third grade in Daejeon, Chungbuk, and Chungnam area from September 3, 2019 to September 17, 2019, on the 7th Standard Plan for School Safety Education in February 2015 as part of comprehensive safety measures in the education field. As a result of the study, students perception of Seven Standards for School Safety Education was the highest in violence and personal safety, followed by first aid, life safety, traffic safety, disaster safety, occupational safety, and drug and cyber addiction. And, among the 7 standard of school safety education, there was a statistically significant difference in life safety, drug and cyber addiction, and first aid by gender, and male students showed higher understanding of theory and practice than female students. And there was a statistically significant difference in drug, cyber addiction, and occupational safety by grade. Especially, high school students had relatively high experience in school safety education and recognized the necessity and importance of safety education more highly.Therefore, it is expected that students will be able to establish safe school life through follow-up research that can function in school field through linkage and cooperation between home and community.
