소방직 공무원의 동료지원인식, 가족기능, 심리적 복지감이 직업소명의식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 소방직 공무원의 동료지원인식, 가족기능, 심리적 복지감이 직업소명의식에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 시도되었다. 자료수집은 J시와 K시에 소재하는 소방직 공무원을 대상으로 편의표집 하였으며 구조화된 설문지를 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 최종 162부로서 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 개인적 특성 변수를 통제한 후 동료지원인식, 가족기능, 심리적 복지감 3개의 예측변수를 투입하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 직업소명의식에 미치는 영향력은 총 28.7%로 나타났다. 그 중에서 심리적 복지감(β=.342, p<.001)이 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤고, 다음이 가족기능이었으며 동료지원인식은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 토대로 소방직 공무원의 바람직한 직업소명의식 강화를 위해 내적 보호요인으로서 심리적 복지감을 증진시키고 가족 기능을 도모하기 위한 중재 전략과 제도적 노력이 필요할 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of perceived peer support, family function, and psychological well-being on fire-fighting officers’ sense of calling. Data were collected from fire-fighting officers in J and K cities. Subjects were selected through convenience sampling, and a structured questionnaire was used. A total of 162 completed questionnaires were returned, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 23.. The results of the hierarchical regression analysis using three predictor variables of perceived peer support, family function, and psychological well-being with personal characteristics variables controlled, showed that the total influence on their sense of calling was 28.7%. Psychological well-being (β=.342, p<.001) had the greatest influence followed by family function, but the influence of perceived peer support was non-significant. Based on these findings, an improvement in psychological well-being as an internal protective factor, and intervention strategies and institutional support to promote family function, appear to be necessary to strengthen the desirable sense of calling among fire-fighting officers.
